Groundation adalah Spiritual Roots Reggae band dari California, United States. Dibentuk pada akhir tahun 1998 oleh Harrison Stafford, Marcus Urani, and Ryan Newman, Groundation adl campuran manis antara Reggae, Jazz, dan irama Latin.

Nama Groundation diambil dr "Grounation" - Rastafarian holy day, hari dimana Kaisar Haile Selassie mengunjungi Jamaica pada tgl 21 April 1966.
